I think it's time to stop making social media soo difficult. It's kind of annoying.
Hellloooo ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿพ I'm Pariss and I am chronically offline.

No, I get it. Social media is a tricky little thing.

Damn algorithms are always changing, new features popup out of nowhere, andโ€ฆ.wait, did you hear that? Ahh yes, another Meg The Stallion TikTok mix just went viral, (understandably), a new dance will be hitting our FYPs in just a moment.

So, as a creative who uses social media as not only a consumer but a creator and freelancer as well, I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about the role social media plays in society:

  • Our brains are melting. Science says so. What's your screen time again?
  • We spend so much time comparing and โ€œscrolling for inspoโ€ not enough creating the things that really make us excited.
  • "Post 50x/day. Then buy my course!" Just know that there are many pathways to success and no, I'm not selling a course!
  • Capitalism.

My approach lies in a space that puts community, creativity, and sustainability on the front lines.

Iโ€™ve spent the last 7 years learning the ins and ups and downs and outs of planet SocialMedia. What Iโ€™ve found is that the art and joy of creativity and connectedness get lost somewhere between the algorithms and funny memes and the very original posts we all see on LinkedIn. But there's a way through and I'd love to help guide ya.
